Following Jesus is not a race to see who can be the most radical, sacrificial, knowledgeable, or exhausted for Jesus. It’s simply doing whatever He calls us to do, whether it’s radical and crazy or simple and mundane. Sometimes we need a “reset” to ensure that our efforts to fan the flames of discipleship are pointing to an actual Christlikeness that is rooted in love and humility.
