As we journey with Jesus, we will see His example of continuously giving of Himself and ultimately giving His own life to provide for our greatest need of being saved from our sins.
What does Mark hope we will experience as we read his gospel? He hopes our heart leaps up and we cry out along with that Roman soldier witnessing the death of Jesus, "Truly this man was the Son of God!" (Mark 15:39).
One of our deepest desires is to belong. We all need to experience community with others and to know that we aren’t alone, but we have an enemy who works tirelessly to keep us isolated in shame, guilt, and condemnation. In this series, we’re going to dig into the paradox of confusing, frustrating, and sometimes hopeless circumstances that God uses to not only position us to experience His love, but to become a conduit for helping others do the same.
